Hola mi amigos y mi amiga! (sorry, no upside down exclamation mark!) Yo no puedo hablar en Espanol (no tilde either), pero I'll try! Yo vivo en Clarksville. I work by day, and clean litter boxes by night (Norbert would love that!)!! Rob,I would watch the futbol games with you on Sunday, if I was there! Can't wait until you come home, it will be nice to see you! The picture of your family is really good, and we're looking forward to more pics, and more news....BLOG ON!!! LOVE YOU ALL!!
The Torbert family felt God's call on our lives in 1999. After much prayer and talk, we applied to the ISC program with the IMB. We moved to Tegucigalpa, Honduras on September 1, 1999. Rob served as Business and financial support coordinator, and our secondary assignment was church planting. During our almost 5 years in Tegus, several Bible Studies were started, and Tina had a ministry to women and children in a lower-class area of the city. We started a house church with some of our LaRoca church members, and were able to see many come to know the Lord. In June, 2004, God moved our family to Mexico City, Mexico. Our #1 reason for moving was our heart for the 98-99% of Mexicans in the largest city in the world who did not have a personal relationship with the Lord. We have been in Mexico City for over 2 years now. Cole is 17 years old, and Carson is 14 years old (Sept. 2006).
